An ode to Persian indulgence

Vers van de Pers was born from a simple desire: to take you to Iran, with stories, traditions, and the flavors of my childhood.

When I think back to my childhood in Iran, I see my grandmother in the kitchen, busily making freshly baked chickpea flour cookies for Norooz, the Persian New Year.

I smell the sweet scent of our garden, full of blood oranges, clementines, and roses, and hear the hum of family visits where there was always plenty: tea, cookies, fruit, nuts, and above all, warmth.

Those memories are at the heart of Vers van de Pers: pure ingredients, made with care, and a touch of nostalgia.

In my kitchen, old family recipes get a modern twist and are transformed into finger-licking delicacies. So grab a spoon, take a bite filled with Persian passion…and try not to stop!.

Inspiration

Cheerful colors, elegant lines and a touch of poetry; our logo is inspired by modern Persian miniature paintings. Because at Vers van de Pers, we also love to blend tradition and innovation together.

Wortel Wonder test panel

The very first jar of Carrot Wonder was tested on friends. They thought they were just coming over to taste some jam, but they were actually our test panel. Don't worry: they're still alive, and they still come back for more because they think it's 'kheeli khoshmaze', meaning they find it very tasty.

Food is...

In Iran, food is not just about eating. It is comfort, tradition, and hospitality. And yes, it also means that your plate will be refilled ONCE MORE, whether you want it or not! 😅
